Reduction
of Water Problems
The
monolithically manufactured 3,4 or 5 sided building components
have no seams where water penetration could occur.
The
sandwiched
wall system structure produces no dust or airborne contaminants
during construction, does not allow moisture to be absorbed
into the insulation or allow transmission of moisture through
the envelope, which eliminates condensation on the wall
surfaces.
Additionally,
fiber composite connectors are resistant to thermal transfer.
The result is no thermal bridging through the insulation.
What this means is that during the winter there will not
be any cold spots on the inside of the wall that would attract
moisture to form condensation. The overall thermal performance
of the wall system will maintain the same surface temperature
on the face of the interior wythe as is the interior air
temperature.

Reduction
of Mold
Problems
- contains
no consumable material within the wall which contributes
to
the propagation of mold , a growing liability in the construction
industry.
-
eliminates
cold
or hot spots in the occupant zones
- maintains
wall temps at or near the interior operating conditions.
- liquid
water is not absorbed by the
insulation.
- THERMOMASS®
insulated panels limit or eliminate the transmission of
moisture through the envelope,
which eliminates condensation on the wall surfaces, and
contain no consumable material within the
panel for mold propagation.
- Extruded
Polystyrene Insulation (XPS) with the Thermomass System
(TBS). XPS is a closed cell insulation that has the best
Water Absorption (% by volume) and Water Vapor Permanence
(Perm) ratings available for rigid insulation.
