Exterior
Maintenance- Typically
precast exteriors
are maintenance free except for recoating with paint or
sealer after 10-12 years. Considerable savings over time.
Precast
building component products are monolithically manufactured
from the same material; floor, walls and roof…there
is nothing that becomes loose or disconnects over time
as may be true when combining a variety of components
into a building system.
Because
our components include joints up to every 8 to 12 feet
or so and are composed of 5,000
+ psi steel reinforced concrete the structure is extremely
durable.
Also
over time masonry joints deteriorate and have to be re-pointed
in many cases. The integral brick/concrete
exterior will not have to be re-pointed.
