Chester County Prison to Add 512 Bed Expansion

Chester County Prison Expansion-West Chester,PA: Overcrowding, which has become an issue at the county prison, will be alleviated by the $32 million project that will add 256 cells with 512 beds to the facility. OPMG won the contract for the 256 fully out-fitted, precast prison cells, stair tower modules, stair sections and stair landings. The 130,000 square foot addition will be composed of two, four-story buildings, a new medical and male housing building each with 128 cells. Boro Construction is the General Contractor and Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates is the Architect of Record for this project. Dave Worthington is the Project Manager.
